Callaghan Cup ( 2nd Division Rugby Tournament ) to commence from Jan 24
This years 15 a side Rugby Tournament (2nd Division), better known as the Callaghan Cup, named after the Managing Director of Roche Pharmaceuticals India, who was an avid follower of rugby and played for Bombay Gymkhana, shall be held in Bhubaneshwar, Orissa from Jan 24 to 28. There shall be 10 teams playing their guts out where the top 3 teams get qualified for the years Elite most Rugby competition, the All India and South East Asia Rugby 15's Cup, that has been won by the Army Red Team for the last 5 years. Rugby has risen to immense popularity amongst sports like football and cricket in Kolkata and India, but for the players who play the sport, its all blood and sweat. Lets gear up for some bone crushing tackles and watch them eat lightning speed.
