The first match with Bangladesh was a beauty. India had scored 368 runs and the score was a great build with Virendra Sehwag scoring nearly 120 runs and Virat Kohli scoring his century on Indian Grounds.
The big score of 368 was a beauty and the Bangladesh team were trying hard to score up to the winning mark. But the Indian team were doing good bowling and the fielding was up to the mark. THe throws and stumping by Mahendra S Dhoni was really good.
Even extra runs in the face off Wides and No Balls were not given and as such the match was well in control.
The Bangladesh Team was still giving a good chase, but lost the match against the mammoth score of the Indian team. The win was a good start for Both India and the World Cup matches with big scores in the One Day format Matches of the ICC World Cup 2011.
The second match with England also showed up with Indian team doing the first batting after winning the Toss. This time in the Second match, Sachin Tendulkar showed his flying colours with the Bowl going high up and above the shelters of the Stadium with highly marked Sixes and Fours from his bat. Sachin Tendulkar did a slow start, may be to get himself stabilized on the Bengaluru Stadium and then followed up with the bigger strokes by changing his bat for the heavier one.
India did a good score thanks to the strong batting line followed by Yuvraj SIngh, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Yusuf Pathan and others. But the fall of wickets at around score 325 was frequent and thus the score could not go above 350 mark. India had to settle for 338 score.
The England team did a good start and the fall of wickets was not so high and the 2 down wicket gave good runs and the England score was going in a similar fashion according to the Indian Team. The situation was looking that England was going to win this match and the coins were not in the hands of India.
The final results of the match came up when England were requiring 2 runs of 1 ball. Thanks to the good bowling and fielding that in the last ball, they could make only one run of the ball and the match became a draw.
India now leads the Group B with Highest Run Rate and points. It can be highly possible for India to Win this World Cup and mark a glory which was previously attained in 1983 world cup.
