Nash had a No Fear Poster on her bedroom door when she was just 10 years old and that was the poster of a kayaker. She looked at it everyday and then one day she went rafting with her dad. And then when she was just 13, from the local paddling club she got into her first kayak at the age of 13years. Later she trained herself at a kayak school on the Ottawa and got hooked up there and thus ended up going back every year.
The White Nile in Uganda according to Nash is the most beautiful river and jungle. It is logistically easy and thus a gathering Spot for really amazing people. She goes on to say that the social life and people she gets to meet and experience various cultures is the best thing about kayaking. The feelings develop more as they share similar feelings from the river.
Her last win was on the Lyon River Festival and she goes on to confirm the fact that it was one among her best wins for she loved the big waves and she hopes for more competitions on big waves.
