Bhagwath Chandrasekhar is conridered to be one of the exceptional spinner in the history of Indian Cricket. It is due to his superb bowling performance at The Oval in 1971 against England, India managed to win their First Ever Test Match in England and a series win also.
Bhagwath Chandrasekhar, born in Mysore city of Karnataka was infected of Polio in his childhood in Right Arm, which forces him to bowl with left hand.
He started his Test Career against England in Mumbai in year 1964, where he got 5 wickets in the Debut Match including a fine figures of 4/67 in the England's 1st Innings. Later in his career he played with other famous Indian spinners like Bishan Singh Bedi, Prasanna, and Venkatraghavan.
During the tour of Australia in 1978, his 12 wickets in a match resulted in India's first victory in Australia. Chandrasekhar was always very impressive in Overseas Matches. He also had been the part of the ODI Cricket registering only one match to his career, but he impressed in that match with a bowling figures of 3 wickets by giving just 36 Runs.
