About Champions League T20 2011
Champions League T20 is one of the most popular T20 cricket tournament in the world. Champions League T20 2011 will be held in India. The tournament will start from September 23rd 2011. This is the third edition of Champions League T20. 
There will be 10 teams in Champions League T20 2011 in which 5 teams will be in Group A and other 5 teams in Group b. 7 teams were already qualified in Champions League T20 2011. Out of 7 teams, three teams from IPL, top two teams from Australia and two from South Africa. Other 3 qualifiers of Champions League T20 2011 include Kolkata Knight Riders (IPL), Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies), Auckland Aces (New Zealand), Sri Lanka (TBC), England 1 (TBC) and England 2 (TBC), out of which 3 teams will qualify for Champions League Twenty20 2011. Qualifier rounds will be held from 19th sep 2011 to 21st sep 2011.
These teams are not yet decided and officially recognized. There will be group stage and Knock out stage in Champions League T20 2011. Total 23 matches will be played and if one match is tie there will be super over to decide the winner. For a win there 2 points are given. If there is no result due to rain or bad weather 1 points each will be given to both teams. No points for a loss in the match. The top two teams of each group will enter the knock out stage. There will be two semi finals in the Knock out stage and final will be played between the winners of Knock out stage. Schedule of 2011 Champions League Twenty20
