Construction of Basketball Arena started in March 2010 and completed its final touch on June 2011 and now Basketball Arena is now ready set to host some events related to Basketball, Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Rugby and Handball events. 
Basket ball and finals of handball tournaments will be held in the same venue and it takes 22 hours to convert the basketball court to hand ball court during the Olympic Games. Basketball Arena can accommodate 12000 spectators to watch the Olympic events.
