See live telecast and online streaming of Indian Premiere League (IPL) auction and price of key players sold.

Auction of players for Indian Premiere League (IPL) 5, 2012 will be held tomorrow and there are several key players who will be in demand, especially few players of Kochi Tuskers team which is now not a part of IPL.

In total there are 144 players in fray out of which 136 are foreign players while the slot left is for 29 players, that means 107 foreign players will remain unsold. As per new rule now each team can have 11 foreign players instead of 10 and each team can have maximum of 32 players instead of 30, however in 11 only 4 foreign players can get chance.

Money to be spend by each IPL team in auction

Each team can now spend 2 million dollars more but few teams had already signed players in between like Pune Warriors signed Sourav Ganguly and Royal Challengers Bangalore signed Chris Gayle. Thus each team have following amount in their kitty for auction of Indian Premiere League (IPL) 5, 2012.

Delhi Daredevils, Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians have 2 millions, King XI Punjab has 1.9 million dollars, Sahara Pune Warriors are left with 1.6 millions while least amount is with Royal Challenger Bangalore with 1.44 million dollars.

Indian players for IPL auction 2012 are Rabinder Jadeja, Vinay Kumar, Parthiv Patel, S. Sreeshanth, VRV Singh, VVS Laxman, Romesh Powar and R.P. Singh. Out of these 8 players it is expected that Rabinder Jadeja will be of prime attraction, Parthiv Patel, Vinay Kumar and R.P Singh may get some bidder but VVS Laxman, Romesh Powar, VRV SIngh and Sreesanth may find it difficult to get a bidder.

Key players for auction in Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2012

1. Ravindra Jadeja - Rabindra Jadeja is now specialist player for shorter version of cricket, especially in T 20 he played a vital role as he can bat in middle order, can ball pretty well containing runs as well as can take wickets and a brilliant fielder. It is expected that as Harbhajan Singh havent played for long time, Rabinder Jadeja is being targeted by MI as a genuine replacement. While Delhi Daredevil may also show interest to strengthen their middle order which was exposed in last IPL.

2. Peter Siddle - After India Australia series in which he not only bowled brilliantly but also showed his ability to bat can make him one of the favorite in this IPL auction.

3. Mahela Jayawardane - Captain of Kochi Tusker is now in the auction once again and Sahara Pune Warriors in absence of Yuvraj Singh might be targeting for a player with leadership quality and Mahela can be the best option.

4. Kevin O Brien - He showed his brilliance in the world cup as a hard hitter batsman and teams like King XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals can take interest to bid for him.

5. Muttaiyah Murlidharan - Chennai Super Kings who lost Murli in last auction will try their best to get him back.

6. Brendon Mcullum -New Zealand wicket keeper and hard hitter who holds the record of highest run in an inning in IPL will also be a key player and there may be tug of war among franchisee to get his name as a part of their team.

There are other important players like VVS Laxman but his lackluster performance in Australia can hardly make any franchisee interested in him, similar can be the case with injury prone Sreeshanth, VRV Singh. Base price of Sreesanth and VVS Laxman is 4,00,000 dollars which is again a repulsive factor for the franchisee. Parthiv Patel can get a chance. 107 foreign players will remain unsold if all the teams fill their slots but it is expected that no team will be interested just to fulfil their number of 11 overseas players, so number of unsold players may even be much more.
