Barcelona is enjoying the taste of victory in their fifth consecutive match this season. On Saturday, by beating Granada by 2-0 in a hard fought match the Barcelona Football Club is leading the table with five wins in five matches. They have now 15 points. Mallorca Football Club stands second in the table with 11 points in five matches while Malaga Football Club and Sevilla FC are sitting on third and fourth position respectively with same number of points as Mallorca in five matches each. Real Madrid also won against Rayo Vallecano by 2-0 scoreline

Fifth consecutive win of Barcelona


The match between Barcelona and Granada is not as one sided as it seems to be by the scoreline. Granada team fought well in the match till 87th minute when substitute from Barcelona Xavi did a splendid goal from the edge of the box. David Villa make his return in the team through this match after 10 months of period. Granada goalkeeper Tono made some great save during the match. One of which is a shot from returning Villa. In 77th minute Fabregas created a chance which Tono successfully denied. Granada defenders and mid-fielders also keep a check on in-form striker of Barca Lionel Messi. Barcelona's second goal came from own goal of Granada's Borja Gomez who got on the end of Messi's cross to Alexis. The match was played at Camp Nou, Spain with 80,000 attendance.

Real Madrid vs Rayo Vallecano


With a goal from Karim Benzema in 13th minute of the game and a goal by penalty by Cristiano Ronaldo in 70th minute ensured a 2-0 victory for Real Madrid against Rayo Vallecano. The match was played at Campo de Futbal de Vallecas with an attendance of 15,000 audience.
